The March 2018 Toronto Real Estate Market stats are in folks and we would like to take this opportunity to share them with you.
Although we have seen a significant decline in sales year over year when compared to March of 2017, numbers have been consistently climbing since the beginning of 2018.
Here are some stats that show great evidence of an improving market as we begin to make our way into spring.
Total listings from January 2018 – March 2018 have increased by a whopping 34.3%, which means people are done with winter and ready to start listing their homes in time for an action packed spring market.
Sales in the GTA have almost DOUBLED when comparing what we say in January compared to March.
Homes are also selling much quicker since January where in the month of January 2018 homes on average were sitting on the market for 32 days and in February 2018 it’s gone down to 20 days on the market from when they get listed.
The Spring Toronto real estate market seems to be picking up nicely. If you are looking to buy or sell, now is a better time than any.
