Driving from the Pictou Rotary, across the causeway, past the pulp mill and on through Abercrombie. Turning onto the Trenton Connector, then past Nick Cornish’s store and on through Trenton. Passing the foundry monument, as the foundry is now long closed, and up to St. John’s Crossing, past Big Al’s Convenience and then a quick loop of downtown New Glasgow. Video recorded on Thanksgiving Day, 2013.
We had just missed the sailing and enjoyed Wood Island Provincial Park. And what a lovely little place to be, complete with a nice sunset! Thanks to the ferry staff for suggesting this place and to the ship’s crew who suggested where to stay for the night.
